Spring is here in all her wonderous glory Mother Nature is awakening the earth. This is a great time for Pagan Parenting, it's all so easy as everything is being handed to you on a plate. As I have previously said I'm not one for "teaching" my daughter about religion or faith as I think she's still too young. But at this time of year we do get to share the beauty of the earth together, in a non-threatening, non-indoctrinating way. |

Pagan Predators

Some Pagans fear for their safety, their loved ones, and their livelihood simply because they are Pagan in a predominantly Judeo-Christian world, but I am more afraid of the beast in the closet: those Pagans who use our beliefs against us, who use us - physically, emotionally, or financially - for their own gain. Some of us had to learn the hard way that being Pagan does not ensure ethical behavior, and that many of our beliefs, if twisted, support predatory behavior. Negative encounters with predator clergy, leaders, and magickal groups hurt us; we grow angry, vindictive, or bitter. Some of us have nervous breakdowns or suffer from panic attacks. |

Since starting on my Pagan path seven or eight years ago I have become a mother for the second time. Since my first child was christened and basically raised in the Catholic faith I sometimes felt lost as to what or how to raise my little girl. How was I to be a good Pagan parent?
